Conveniently situated along the iconic Tamar Valley Wine region. Explore and indulge in the renowned wines and stunning landscapes of some of the most beautiful wineries and vineyards all within close proximity.

Bursting with character and charm, our thoughtfully created haven offers a peaceful escape for those seeking relaxation, adventure, or a combination of both. 

Shack in the Dunes comfortably accommodates up to four guests and features a well-equipped open plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area. Two bedrooms both furnished with queen beds adorned with beautiful flax linen. A spacious new bathroom adds a touch of modern luxury to your stay. Cosy up inside on the cooler days by the  wood heater, relax with a book and listen to the peaceful sounds of the cracking fire. 

Step outside and experience the ultimate outdoor oasis, with multiple sitting areas to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking backdrop of our very own sand dune. To add to the ambiance, we provide two outdoor fire pits, you decide where you watch the sun go down. 

Weymouth is a quiet little township, where the beach or river can often be enjoyed in solitude. Just meters away from the shack, you'll find the river beach, a sheltered haven perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding. There are also many natural walking tracks to explore through the dunes. 

We stock a basic pantry that includes ground coffee, a variety of teas, salt and pepper, and oil. However, please note that there is no local shop in the area, so we recommend bringing your own supplies to ensure you have everything you need during your stay.


We are also located a short drive to the Bridgestone lavender estate - 36 min (48.8km)

Barnbougle lost farm restaurant is a 40 min ( 53.5km) drive away. The iconic world class barnbougle golf courses are one of Australia’s top golf destinations. 

Floating Sauna Lake Derby is a iconic scenic wood-fired floating sauna at lake Derby. 1hr 8 min away and definitely worth the drive for a unique experience.
